Community Job Club Impacting Other Locations

The success of The Community Job Club of Stow has brought national attention to the group.

The leadership of the Community Job Club, Stow, Ohio has been invited to participate in
Grand Opening activities of the new Brevard Workforce Center in Rockledge, Florida on
September 15, 2011. Events will include comments and a ribbon cutting ceremony by
NASA leaders and other VIPs.

indirect jobs from area businesses such as restaurants, hotels, etc. will be impacted by the
anticipated loss of tourist revenue.

The Department of Labor and Faith Based Initiative have been providing support to job clubs
across the country. The Brevard Community anticipates that at least twenty new clubs
forming, and an additional eighty faith-based and community leaders will be attending for the
trainings. Diana will be sharing ideas and proven practices that have made the Community
Job Club in Stow so successful in helping the unemployed.
In addition, Tracy Washington will provide her expertise in how grief plays a part in the job
loss process. Most job groups focus only on the problems of the job seeker. The
