Friend and neighbor, Cassandra Jebber, said the Munroe Falls McDonald's, 12 Munroe Falls Ave., agreed to donate 20 percent of its proceeds to the officer's family fund. Dine-in and drive-thru orders will both count.
Valleyview Tattoo will also donate 20 percent of its sales to the fund all day Feb. 24.
"Stow Police officers are amazing! Losing one is a huge loss to us all," said Valleyview Tattoo owner Mary Merrie.
Those who can not make the fundraisers, but would like to donate, can stop into Key Bank, 3857 Darrow Road in Stow, and make a donation to the Bastock Family Fund.
Jebber also said she would accept donations on behalf of the family by sending them to 2623 Overbrook Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
The event is posted on Facebook.
Bastock, a Cuyahoga Falls resident, died Feb. 5 from a blood clot while recuperating from knee surgery from a work-related injury in January. He was 47.
Preceded in death by his daughter Lauren, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna; children Justin, Evan and Jillian; mother Donna Bastock; brother David (Julie) Bastock and their son Noah; mother-in-law Marilyn Beteau.
