STOW COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST GETS NEW PASTOR

  • Name: Judy Faris
  • Occasion: New Pastor Called
The Stow Community United Church of Christ at 1567 Pilgrim Drive in Stow is delighted to announce that they will have a new pastor beginning May 1.  On Sunday, March 13, at a special meeting of the congregation, Pastor Jim Case was unanimously called to be pastor of the church.     "We are very enthused about having Jim Case as our new pastor,"  says Rich Reinhart, the church moderator.  "He and his wife, Jeannine, live close by and have many friends within our church.  He brings a vibrant message to all about the love of Jesus Christ."     Pastor Case was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls and currently lives in Munroe Falls with his wife.  He began his ministry in 1975 and was schooled through the United Church of Christ.  He has been pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church since 2002.     "I am so pleased to come to Stow and share the Good News of Jesus Christ," says Pastor Case.  "My prayer is that you will help me help others in becoming ONE with Christ."     His duties with the church begin on May 1 and he will begin to preach on Mother's Day, May 8.

Pastor Case is certainly a great asset to the church. He is a wonderful and compassionate man. Thanks for being here!

Pastor Case spoke at my father's funeral service and spoke eloquently and with passion about my father. He spent considerable time with my family and made the situation relating to my father's passing much easier to accept. It has been a pleasure getting to know Pastor Case. I suspect that my mother will begin attending services at Pastor Case' ministry.
