Here's everything you need to know about the event — besides the obvious fact that everyone who goes will have a blast.
Stow's 2012 Summer Sunset Blast is packed with entertainment once again for an end of the summer celebration.
Here's everything you need to know about the Blast at Silver Springs Park:
- 5 p.m. : Performance from the Stow-Munroe Falls High School Marching band
- 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. : Gypsies in the Palace, a Jimmy Buffett cover band (the band is playing for free!)
- 8 p.m. Golf ball drop
- 9 p.m. Fireworks (Click here for instructions on how to take pictures of fireworks.)
The city is expecting a crowd of 15,000 people.
Blast-goers can enjoy festival food (pizza, ice cream, cupcakes, kettle corn, chicken wraps, festival fries, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, beer, wine coolers, sausage, cotton candy, cheese cake, slushies and more), and a Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce basket raffle.
There's fun for children too — kids games, face painting, inflatables.
