$221 in Beer, Toilet Paper and Detergent Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department

This man ran in for just the necessities.

A Kent Road Giant Eagle employee called Stow Police because he saw someone walking out of the grocery store without paying for several items in a cart.

The employee said someone took $44 worth of Scott toilet paper, $31 worth of dog food, $44 in clothing detergent and $49 worth of Busch beer, among other miscellaneous items. The employee estimates a total of $221 in merchandise was taken.

The employee saw the person drive away in a 2001 gold Pontiac Sunfire.

Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdemeanor.

LOL I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw Busch Beer. They must've been out of Old Milwaukee.

One reason product prices are high is because of all the theft. Law should be, steal once lose a hand steal again lose your life. Bring back public hangings
