Channel 5 Meteorologist Visits Echo Hills, Showered with Questions

The second grade students were learning about weather for the last two weeks and meteorologist Christine Ferreira paid the school a visit Monday for a question and answer session.

The second grade Echo Hills Elementary students were very excited to have her here, said principal David Ulbricht.

"They became especially excited when Ms. Ferreira talked about Hurricane Katrina. They all made a personal connection to that terrible storm because it struck during the year they were born —2005," he said. 

The visit was coordinated by second grade teacher Tiffany Der.

Mrs Der is a really good teacher she is very engaged with the kids. My son Deonte really enjoys learning about weather and he was very excited when Mrs Ferreira came to visit
