Watch: Travel Team Honored for Supporting Opponents after Chardon Shooting
Mayor Sara Drew publicly recognized the student athletes with a reception before the City Council meeting.
Ten fifth-grade travel team players (and one fourth grader) helped show unity after the Chardon High School shooting by creating T-shirts and hairties for their opponents.

My pleasure, Donna. Very cool thing the girls did and I was happy to share it with the community. Plus, now they'll always have this to show their friends, family who couldn't come last night.
