Coca-Cola Crook Robs Soda Machine
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.
A local Akron Coke-Cola employee called Stow Police when he noticed someone had broken into a soda machine July 19 at a Hampton Inn.
The employee said $100 in change and cash was missing from the machine.
Tampering with a coin machine is a first-degree misdemeanor, criminal damaging is a second-degree misdemanor and theft is a first-degree misdemeanor and considered larceny in this situation.
