Customer Convinces Cashier to Give Out More Cash

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

 

A Kohl’s employee called the Stow Police Department after another employee was tricked into giving a customer more change.

According to the police report, a customer paid in cash and when receiving change the first time, pocketed $40 when the cashier wasn’t looking Oct. 18.

The customer convinced the cashier the change was incorrect and the employee gave them another $40. The incident was caught on video, said police.

Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdemeanor.
