Decorations Used to Break Car Windows

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A 45-year-old Wetmore Street man’s vehicle and a Crowne Point Drive woman’s car was parked in a driveway at the 3300 block of Crown Point Drive July 11 when a 48-year-old Akron woman used concrete garden items to damage the vehicle's windshields that were parked in the driveway, according to a police report.

Stow Police said the windshields on a Ford and Chevy were both smashed and damaged. They are valued at $200 each. The garden decorations were also broken and valued at $90 total.

Police arrested the 48-year-old Akron woman after they discovered she had an active warrant out for her arrest. The woman was suspected of drinking, according to the report.
