Emil Gross, 91, Served in Navy in WWII

Emil Gross, a lifetime Stow resident, died June 16.

 

Emil Gross, 91, a lifetime resident of Stow died on June 16.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Acker-Moore Memorial Post 4738 and loved woodworking and building wooden toys.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Rosa; sons Richard Gross of Stow and David (Janet) Gross of Medina; grandchildren Jessica and Nate (Nakia); sister Irene Uller of California and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother John.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral service will be held Wednesday 1 p.m., with military honors provided by Charles Faust Post 281.
