I'll never understand why Stow cannot field a competitive football team. They have a built-in feeder system (Stow youth), the numbers (large district) and top-notch facilities. Year after year they seem to lag the Twinsburgs, Solons, Tallmadges, Kents and others.

TERRY,the problem is that they need a new athletic director that knows how to run it.STOW for the last 12 years stow has been going very poorly HIS theory is if you can't support the team financially by joining the booster club or any other club they don't want anything to do with you. THE coaches in the youth program are dedicated to the kids and do it for the love of the sport not for financial gain .there is alot of great talent in the youth system and poor ran system the talent goes somewhere else to play.

Mike P-the parochials draw from those other districts probably more heavily than they do Stow-Walsh for sure (e.g.Nordonia, Solon, Twinsburg)-yet those districts produce quality programs that compete. Stow Has always resorted to blaming the parochials.

Terry, I agree that it would be nice to see them compete and not get blown out against the decent teams. Haven't had a good team since Gare Mattes handed off his team to Meduri in 95'.
