Here's a wrap up of police blotter items where residents called to say that someone stole their property last week:

  • A 76-year-old Ritchie Road resident called police because his golf cart was missing from his driveway. The man believes it was taken sometime overnight Oct. 11-12. The green golf cart with diamond plated flatbed is valued at $1,400. Theft, in this situation, is a fourth-degree felony.
  • On Oct. 12, another Ritchie Road man called because he said more than $1,000 in tools was taken from his unlocked trailer. The 52-year-old told officers that a $359 framing nailer, $698 in coil roof nailers and a $99 circular saw was missing. Theft, in this situation, is a fifth-degree felony.
  • A 39-year-old Kenneth Road resident called police because a Mitt Romney for president sign was taken from his front yard Oct. 11. Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdmeanor and is considered larceny.
