Kent Man Charged With Felony Robbery After Incident at Kohl's
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Randy Ray Benton II, 28, of 1218 Dean Court in Kent, was arrested and charged with robbery, a third-degree felony, in connection with an incident that occurred just after 2 p.m. May 17 at Kohl’s.
A store loss prevention employee told police that Benton attempted to take three sterling silver rings valued at $105 without paying for them. Benton “then pushed (the employee) in an attempt to get away,” police said.
