The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library just got word that the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation will hand over $7,795 to buy a new whiteboard monitor for its computer lab.
The 65-inch Samsung Touch Screen Whiteboard Monitor will enhance the library's free, hands-on computer instruction, said Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator Mary McDonald.
"The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library is committed to offering training on state of the art computers with the latest applications. This benefits the community by improving individuals’ computer skills and overall workforce readiness," a press release stated.
Once installed, the new whiteboard can offer students a wide viewing angle from a high definition LCD panel — which maints high picture quality regardless of the viewer's position within the computer lab.
"This, combined with the new board’s anti-reflective glass, will make viewing easier for all library patrons, especially those with reduced vision," the press release stated. "The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library shares the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation’s commitment to education as a cornerstone of society, and dedication to innovation and the building and sharing of knowledge."
