LOOK: Students Branch Out of the Classroom to Plant a Tree for Arbor Day

 Students received hands-on training from the city's Urban Forestry Department in proper planting of a tree.
Fourth graders at Indian Trail Elementary listened in as the city's Urban Forestry Department employees talked about some facts and figures of trees.
Principal John Lacoste has allowed the students to participate in the learning opportunity each year.
Mayor Sara Drew read a Proclamation to the students about the tree planting at the school.
 Students received hands-on training from the city's Urban Forestry Department on how to properly mulch and water a new tree.
Students learned a lot about what it takes to care for a newly planted tree.

Stow participated in a tree planting event with the fourth grader students at Indian Trail Elementary School May 3 to commemorate Arbor Day 2012.
