On Nov. 11 at 5:45 a.m., a 23-year-old woman called Stow Police because she said a man she knew broke into her apartment at the 3900 block of Windham Ridge while she was asleep and got in bed with her.
She told police the man began pressing and rubbing his erect penis on her while putting his hands up her shirt. She said he also took miscellaneous things from her apartment, like a gold door knocker and a small piece of silver.
When police arrived, they arrested Abdecrahman Samy Shendy, 23, of Cuyahoga Falls. Police said they suspected the man was under the influence of alcohol.
Police charged Shendy with burglary, a second-degree felony, and gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony.
The man was taken to Summit County Jail where DNA was collected.

Amanda,
Why do you see fit to publish this kind of nonsense? Don't fall into the same category as Channel 19 by publishing these selected police files in order to attract readers. It just further enhances the coarsening of our culture.

Calm down, loon.
Clearly you were interested in reading this because you clicked on this story (and spare me the excuses; losers make excuses). You "oh, I'm offended" whiners can crawl back in your hole and shut it.

Jack, please refrain from calling people names.
Terry, I present each Stow Police blotter items as its own story always. I can't help if this was the (unfortunate) news that was available to share this week. I thought many would like to know that this happened in their community.

Amanda,
Jack Kelly has no other tactic but "calling people names". That's why he gets flagged so much.

I'm glad this was posted. We should all be aware of the crimes taking place in the city we call home. You can't bury your head in the sand and ignore the stories that offend you.

Facts are facts and the reporter has nothing for which to apologize. The perpetrator is "a good kid" - seriously? Your definition of "good" needs some serious revision.

Jack- I didn't read it. I saw the headline and that was enough for me. You prove my point about the "coarsening" of our society as witnessed by your childish namecalling.
What happened to civil discourse, Jack?

Amanda, not to be critical, but ... your terms of service clearly state that we should use our real names, first & last, on this site. As someone who has chosen to FOLLOW these rules, I find it extemely irritating that most comments on many stories are CLEARLY from people who have chosen not to use their names.

Pamela - As info for you, Patch very quietly and without much fanfare changed their terms of service earlier this year to NOT require real names or even first & last name, which was probably a good thing because they never enforced that provision anyway.
