Man Caught with Liquor in Truck During Stow's 4th of July Parade

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Stow Police got a call from someone along the Stow Fourth of July parade route to report that they saw someone drinking in their car in the Stow-Kent shopping center around 11 a.m. July 4.  

Police said when they arrived at 4301 Kent Rd., they saw a man who had an open bottle of vodka in his 2011 GMC truck.

The 29-year-old Akron man was issued a summons to appear at the Stow Municipal Court.

Having an open container in a motor vehicle is a minor-misdemeanor in this situation.
