More Heavy Lawn Items Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A resident of the 4400 block of Leewood Drive told police lawn decorations were stolen from her front lawn.

The 62-year-old victim said a gold painted iron birdbath, valued at $150, was gone. Police said "the item was quite heavy."

A gold painted angel with a book was also missing, valued at $50.

The statues were both between two and three feet tall. Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdemeanor.

This is the second time recently that something heavy was stolen from a resident.

A few weeks ago a resident of the 3900 block of Redwing Circle reported a 200-pound concrete bench was stolen from his front yard.

The three-piece bench set is valued at $250.

The theft is classified as a first-degree misdemeanor in this situation.
