'Mr. Stow' Attends Howie Chizek's Funeral
More than 400 mourners were at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel in Cleveland Heights for the funeral Thursday.
WNIR talk radio host Howie Chizek died Saturday at the age of 65.
Numerous media outlets reported the Twinsburg man died of a heart attack while on a trip to Disney World with underprivileged children.
"Mr. Stow," a long-time and infamous Chizek listener estimates he called the show more than 6,000 times in 30 years. He attended the funeral in Cleveland Heights Thursday.
“He was more than just a talk show host. He was a great, great guy," said "Mr. Stow" in an Akron Beacon Journal story.
