From 8 a.m. until noon Aug. 11, BEST for Stow and the Booster Club are hosting an event for the community to come take a sneak peek at the new stadium entrance and turf at the high school.
"[The artificial turf] is a much safer and softer surface in the field," Booster Club President John Prusa said in a Stow Sentry story. "And it can be used no matter what the weather is."
Everyone is welcome to attend and those who have worked on the project will be on hand to answer questions.
"We are setting up committee tables (Band Boosters are invited to join with this too) for the purpose of both showing the work and getting more donations and Booster Members," he said.
To find out if the stadium will be ready in time for the home opener Aug. 24, check Stow Patch Monday.
