No One Injured in Minor School Bus Accident
There were only a few students on the bus at the time and the other car involved was cited by the Akron Police Department.

No one was hurt when a Jeep struck the back of a Stow-Munroe Falls City School bus while stopped at a light in Akron Tuesday.
Transportation Supervisor John Daymon, who resigned Tuesday, said damage to the back end of the bus was "very minimal."
There were only a couple students from Stow and Munroe Falls who go to St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and Archbishop Hoban High School on the bus around 4 p.m. when it happened Sept. 4.
Daymon said the other driver was cited by the Akron Police Department. The bus was pulled over near South Broadway Street and East Mill Road in Akron for about an hour, according to a Stow Patch reader who submitted the photo.

WOW, What a waste of taxpayers money!!!!!, As a cdl holder ( 20 yrs) this is a big waste of taxpayers money!!!. Sending a manager to a minor accident .All paper work is done by police ,Driver of bus should have insurance card, registration,on the bus.Stow must like throwing there money away!!

Actually, Bulldog....for your information: 1. The supervisor is paid a salary so he/she does not receive any overtime for going to the scene of an accident after his/her regular hours. 2. If you actually hold a CDL and use it, you would know that it a protocol is followed for the safety of the children and to make sure if the driver is found to be at fault that he be escorted to a drug test within so many hours of the accident to make sure no alcohol or drugs were involved. 3. John was on call 24/7 without additional pay (again, because he is salaried) to handle any issues that arise such as accidents, bus breakdowns, etc. 4. The school district assigned a school vehicle to the Director of Transportation/Maintenance Supervisor because of the amount of driving is involved in the job. If he were not driving the vehicle, the school would be obligated to pay him mileage for every mile he drove for his job in his personal vehicle. It was a very smart business decision on the districts behalf. If you want to know what is a waste of taxpayer’s money, how about that we have to hire a police officer to attend the school board meetings now because of idiots like you.
