Thank you to everyone who attended our first ever (and to-be annual) Patchiversary event Friday morning. 

It was such a pleasure meeting all of you! I may say this over and over again, but it is the truth: you make Patch successful.

I am glad that the site is making your lives easier, keeping you informed and spreading the word about your accomplishments, changes and events/announcements. 

We gave away 35 cups of coffee Jan. 27 to some current Patchers and to some new ones. We also signed up many for our online newsletter. (If you'd like to sign up for the newsletter, click here.) Many met our Ad Rep Brandon Tidd as well. (If you're interested in advertising, send him an email.)

Judy Benjamin, a new Stow Patch reader, won the drawing for a $25 gift card.

And we collected six, YES SIX!, grocery bags full of canned food for Good Neighbors. High five!

I also want to give a big thank you to Jess and Brian, and the owners, of Mocha Joes. They have become more than familiar faces after a year of me pounding away on my laptop in their establishment. The event would not be possible without them!

If I missed you at the event, don't worry ... I'm always around Stow and would be more than happy to meet you at Mocha Joe's or any other local establishment for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee.

I look forward to continuing to meet the wonderful residents of Stow, hearing about your jeers, cheers, accomplishments and news tips.
