Xbox Games, Syringes Taken From Accused Walmart Shoplifters
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
On Nov. 20, a loss prevention officer at Walmart told Stow Police that two adults were stopped from shoplifting at the store. According to the report, the two men, 24 and 25, of Canal Fulton and Akron, were caught taking $439 in Playstation games, $299 in Xbox games and $99 in Nintendo games.
When police arrived, they also found several drug paraphernalia items:
- Two metal spoons
- Syringes
- Small folded paper
- Small plastic baggie
- Q-tip swab
The men were released on bond and ordered to appear at the Stow Municipal Court.
Theft, in this situation, is a first-degree misdemeanor, having drug abuse instruments is a second-degree misdemeanor and obstructing official business is also a second-degree misdemeanor.
