Police: Neighbor Sees Man Beat Dog

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

 

A Graham Road resident called Stow Police after she said nearby resident was being physically harmful to his dog. 

According to a police report, a resident of the 1400 block of Graham Road observed the dog owner "punching and throwing his dog on the back deck of his home" July 13 around 7:30 p.m.

Cruelty to companion animals is a first-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.

I certainly hope the dog was removed from him and given medical care. It's a real big tough guy that can pick on a defenseless animal! God bless that neighbor!
