Puppy Found Tied to Fencepost with Shoelace

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A 66-year-old Bradley Woods man called Stow Police Sept. 2 because he said while he was sitting in his gazebo smoking a cigar, he saw a puppy tied to the fence.

When police arrived, they found a puppy, about 6-months-old, tied to a fencepost with shoelaces at the eastern entrance to Heather Hills Park.

The German Shephard puppy did not have a collar or tags.

Stow Police did not immediately respond to questions about the dog's condition or where the animal was taken.

I hope someone steps up and reports whose puppy this was. There should be a fine and at least some sort of misdemeanor for animal cruelty and neglect like this. Ugh.

A fine really? They should be tied to two cars and have the cars go in opposite direction and rip their arms off. I will be the driver of one car.
