Replacements for Three High School Principals Found
Principal Susan Schur announced her retirement Tuesday and Wednesday, the superintendent found some replacements.
Superintendent Russ Jones will recommend promoting three current Stow-Munroe Falls High School employees to principal jobs during the June 28 meeting.
After Principal Susan Schur announced her retirement Tuesday, the superintendent decided he is going to recommend Assistant Principal Chris DiMauro for her job.
DiMauro was hired as the assistant principal in August last year. He's been with the school district eight years.
On June 28, Superintendent Russ Jones plans to also recommend high school science teacher Mark Treen and math teacher and student council advisor Amanda Murray as assistant principals.
Assistant Principal Anthony Horton left the school district in May to be the Stanton Middle School principal in Kent.
The three employees still need board approval at the June 28 meeting to get the jobs.
