Every dog has its day and for Retro Dog, it's June 17.
Retro Dog – the family owned quick service restaurant – will open its doors in Cuyahoga Falls this weekend, and by the looks of it, the sleek drive-in joint won't have much trouble attracting customers.
The menu features deli-fresh hot dogs, battered onion rings, home-brewed root beer, homemade custard and more, wrote Retro Dog vice president Lisa Bruno in a prepared statement.
“We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality and freshest ingredients,” she said. "Come and dine in, drive in or walk up."
Retro Dog, located at 350 E. Steels Corners Rd., will open its doors to the public this Sunday, June 17 at 11 a.m.

Great !! All we need in Stow is yet another chain restaurant, with food made from god knows what.

John, the restaurant is in Cuyahoga Falls. But, the whole reason I posted it was because it was close enough to Stow. Just being technical about the location...

I am pretty sure it's one-of-a-kind and not a chain.

it seems to be one-of-a-kind. the owner owns papa joe's in the merriman valley, which is also one-of-a-kind (and excellent!). just because it looks slick and nice doesn't mean it's a cookie-cutter restaurant! and i'm pretty sure they make their food from food. i.e. it's not taco bell ;)
you should try both establishments if you want to support local businesses.

Then don't eat there and shut the (expletive) up. For chrissakes, someone's always complaining.
And complaining and showing us (at the same time) they're borderline-moron by spouting off BEFORE they educate themselves.
It's a local establishment, and I'm glad this NEW AND LOCALLY-OWNED eatery is being focused.
They'll get our business.

An idea born between two families, Retro Dog is a one of a kind, new concept with great taste in mind. Richard and Toni Moretuzzo, Jeff and Lisa Bruno (owner and operator of Papa Joes in the Valley) , and Camille and Sean Berrodin (former owner and manager of The Bucket Shop in Highland Square in Akron) are dedicated to share what's good.

It is not a chain -- original and family owned. We ate there last night and it was delicious. Don't trash a place without the facts.
