Ruth Delilah Ballis, 84, passed away Jan. 14, 2013. Born in Cleveland, a long time resident of Kent and Stow retired in 1996 at their lake home in Mineral Virginia. Ruth loved her husband and long time fishing buddy James G. Ballis. She loved all children as her own. She also loved her garden, singing, dancing, playing the piano and had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. A beautiful life that came to an end, she died as she lived, everyone’s friend.
Ruth is survived by her husband of over 40 years James G. Ballis, children: Janice M. Hall Hogan (Earl), Diane R. Hall Nigh (Jim), William J. Hall, Theresa A. Hall Petersen (Steve), Daniel R. Hall (Chris), David M. Ballis, Nina M. Ballis Goodlet, BethAnn Ballis Tribelhorn (James), Sharon L. Hall, James W. Ballis, Scharlotte H Ballis Medhurst (John), brother: Alan Wolmuth (Nancy), (30) Grandchildren and (20) Great Grandchildren.
Preceeded in death by her father James V. Hannan II, mother Lillian Hannan Wolmuth, son Stephen S. Ballis, daughter Marie C. Hall Yates (Rodney) and Brother James V. Hannan lll.
