A Stow Police officer pulled over a 2002 yellow Chevy Cavalier Oct. 11 at the corner of Darrow Road and Arndale Road Oct. 11 around 1 a.m.
The K9 officer said he pulled the car over because the license plate light was out and the driver was speeding.
While speaking to the driver, a 19-year-old Stow man, the police officer said he could smell marijuana.
The K-9 dog was brought out and it indicated there could be drugs in the vehicle.
The officer searched the car and said he found a 31 gram bag of marijuana.
Posession of drugs, speeding and having a license plate light out are all minor-misdemanors in this situation.
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.
