The candidates, incumbents and issues that will be affecting Stow and Summit County.

Voting Info
- Polling locations: To find your polling locations, click here. Some polling locations have changed, be sure to double check where you're headed Tuesday.
- The polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on election day.
- Are you registered to vote? The deadline was Oct. 9. Check here to see if you are registered.
Races:
Stow-Munroe Falls City School District Issue 67: Renewal tax levy 7.84 mills: The current 7.3-mil is expiring in its fifth year and the school district is asking voters to approve the renewal tax in November. The levy would generate $7.3 million annually for 10 years this time, not five, if passed.
Summit County Fiscal Officer: Incumbent Kristen M. Scalise (D-Cuyahoga Falls) will face Ron Antal (R-Hudson) who owns Research Credit Group, Inc. in Stow.
Summit County Executive: Incumbent Russ Pry (D-Akron) and Munroe Falls Mayor Frank A. Larson, Jr. (R-Munroe Falls) will vie for the job.
Summit County Prosecutor: Incumbent Sherri Bevan Walsh will go up against Candace Kim Knox (R-Akron) this November.
Summit County Sheriff: It's currently Drew Alexander's job, but he is not running for re-election. Steve Barry (D-Uniontown) will be on the ballot with Randy L. Rivers (R-Cuyahoga Falls).
District 3 County Council: Every seat on Summit County Council is up for election, but we're covering the District 3 race because it includes Stow. Incumbent Gloria J. Rodgers (R-Stow) will face Russ Iona (D-Cuyahoga Falls) in November.

VOE N0 ,issue 67 It will cost you more money then what they say!!!!!!!!!!! EMPTY OR FORECLOSED HOMES ,LESS STATE FUNDING ,STUDENT ENROLLMENT DOWN .Taxpayers make up differance in levy amount.Stop the fixing of student grades for financial gain.10 year levy renewal (really).85 % goes to wages .Work with what they have,stop spending money on ridiculous programs.STOP threatening to take things away or make us pay for that we already pay for!!. BEST OF ALL LOWER YOUR TAXES BY $ 240.00 (100,000 HOME) PER YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
