Teens Chalking Caught with Ecstasy, Charged with Felonies

received a report about suspicious juveniles Sept. 5 at the 4200 block of Kenneth Road.

Police discovered the group of young adults had been drawing with chalk on public roadways and sidewalks in the area. Two of the teens were found to be in possession of drugs.

Officers said they found several plastic sandwich baggies with powder Ecstasy in it. Police said they also found a digital scale with residue, a used metal marijuana grinder with resideue, burnt marijuana papers and a total of $147 in cash.

Brett Patrick Morris, 18, of Stow was arrested and charged with a fifth-degree felony of possession of drugs. Police said the man also admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that afternoon.

Anthony Frank Erivn, 18, of Stow was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony and drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

Officers said Ervin told them he smoked marijuana around 2 p.m. that day.

Both were taken to Summit County Jail.
