Student's $2,000 Ring Taken From High School Restroom

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A freshman at Stow-Munroe Falls High School is out a $2,000 diamond and sapphire ring after leaving it in a school restroom, according to a May 16 Stow Police report.

The girl, 14, told police she took the ring off to wash her hands in a first-floor restroom at 9 a.m., then left the restroom without it. The ring was no longer there when she returned to retrieve it about 20 minutes later.

The student, a Cox Drive resident, described the ring as white gold with a sapphire stone in the center surrounded by diamonds in a triangle formation.

I hope it wasn't a family heirloom.
Other than that this is a good object lesson for parents who need help telling their children NO when they want expensive things.
