Summer Sunset Blast Event Details
Ready to have a blast? Here's all the fun events planned for Sept. 1, 2012.

The city is expecting a crowd of 15,000 or more this Labor Day weekend in Silver Springs Park for the annual Summer Sunset Blast.
And why would they expect any less?
Take a look at the fun planned Sept. 1:
- 5 p.m. Stow-Munroe Falls High School marching band
- 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Gypsies in the Palace, a Jimmy Buffett cover band (the band is playing for free!)
- 8 p.m. Golf ball drop
- 9 p.m. Fireworks
Blast-goers can enjoy festival food (pizza, ice cream, cupcakes, kettle corn, chicken wraps, festival fries, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, beer, wine coolers, sausage, cotton candy, cheese cake, slushies and more), and a Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce basket raffle.
There's fun for children too — kids games, face painting, inflatables.

The Chamber has baskets galore! 86 members have participated this year. Be there by 5:00 to take advantage of the "buy it now" price on several of the baskets and walk away with the goodies! Silent Auction runs from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. This is truly a fun night and the band is "AWESOME."
