A 42-year-old woman, who recently moved to the 4400 block of Maplepark Road, called police because there was a couch on top of her car Sept. 8 around 9:30 p.m. 

According to the police report, someone put trash in the road to block the street and then took a couch from the victim’s neighbor’s trash and pulled it on top of her 2002 tan Dodge Neon.

A photo was not available from the Stow Police Department. 

Police said the woman recently moved to the area and did not know of anyone who would do this. There are no suspects at this time.

Criminal mischief, in this situation, is a third-degree misdemeanor.
