Want Really Fresh Produce? Check Out the Farmer's Market Saturday Morning

Last week, the market had a record-breaking amount of vendors. Have you stopped in yet?

 

Despite the excessive heat last week, the Stow Farmer's Market had a record 16 vendors selling produce and other local goods. 

This Saturday will be cooler and there will be a lot of vendors with fresh produce, including sweet corn, which was sold for the first time this season last week. 

Amber Gardens is a new vendor and they will be selling potted tomato plants with tomatoes growing on the vine.  

Music will be provided by the Akron & District Pipe Band featuring bagpipers & drummers from all over Northeast Ohio.

A representative from Master Gardeners of Summit County will be at the educational booth.

Children can play in Kid's Patch, a new children's activity tent, is underwritten by JoAnn Fabric & Crafts headquartered in Hudson.

Market sponsors include: Holmes Seed Company, Redmon Funeral HomeThe BriarwoodJoann Fabric and Crafts, and Summa Western Reserve Hospital and Mocha Joe's Coffee House provides free coffee to market shoppers.

The market is at Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Dr., from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
