Fire departments from around Ohio received pet oxygen masks from Invisible Fence to prevent animal smoke inhalation.

The Stow Fire Department has new equipment that might just save your pet's life some day.

Invisible Fence, a pet safety company, recently donated rescue oxygen masks to 12 local fire departments, including Stow.

The mask donations are part of the company's Project Breathe, a nation-wide effort to equip fire stations across the U.S. and Canada with the special masks.

Firefighters from around the area were in Stow to receive the donations and were trained on how to use the devices.

Invisible Fence donated a total of 19 masks to help safety forces efficiently administer oxygen to a stricken animal.
