We had an awesome event. Thanks to everyone that helped make this event successful:
All the volunteers from the Community Job Club, the Akron General Health & Wellness Center, Record Publishing, RealMatch, US2Work, Beef O’Brady’s, JCSi Computer Sales & Service, Ron DeGrand Computer Application Specialist, Clarion Hotel, Mocha Joes' Coffee Shop, WKDD, The Summit, and all the great employers who participated.
The Community Job Club, Inc. has recognized that traditional resume and job search workshops are no longer effective and a new approach is needed to address as many of the key issues as possible such as:
• How to get more people hired quickly and effectively
• How to change the mindset of severely discouraged job seekers
• How to make their job seekers stand out during the hiring process
• How to effectively fill the needs of job seekers from all career levels
We found Jay Block Companies new curriculum “5 Steps to Rapid Employment” for job seekers designed to address the issues faced in today’s difficult job market.
The curriculum leads job seekers through a step-by-step process that changes attitudes, gets them to take responsibility for their career, and builds the skills and tools needed to stand out and get noticed in today’s job market.
Classes start on May 19, 2012 and we plan to offer additional classes throughout the year. Space is limited so if anyone is interested please make sure you visit our website and sign up early.
