The Stow location is open, but because many employees are still in jail and cannot make bail, the other Summit and Stark County locations remain closed.

On Aug. 16, officials went to Mariachi Mexican Restaurant Owner Miguel Castro's six restaurants and started handcuffing employees — including the owner.
The Akron Beacon Journal reports that 35 employees were arrested for allegedly being in the country illegally.
Hundreds from HOLA, a grassroots Hispanic organization from Ohio, rallied at the Summit County Courthouse Thursday.
"The raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is separating families and 'ripping apart the bonds between children and their parents," HOLA spokeswoman Veronica Dahlberg said in an Akron Beacon Journal story.
The Stow and Chapel Hill locations remains open, but the location in North Canton and three other restaurants are still closed.

Last time I checked illegal meant NOT legal. If the jaw is being broken then they need to pay the price, not us!

There is something wrong with a persons character when they refer to another human being as worthless.

The headline reads that people are protesting outside the courthouse. I am confused as to what they are protesting. These individuals were breaking the law and were arrested for it. What's to protest? I don't agree with several of the laws we currently have in this country, but I do not break them. If I did and was arrested for it, no one would protest about it. I am confused!

I hire people for a living. Too many honest immigrants awaiting H1B visas to secure legal entry to USA to work.
If these, now, criminals feel their specic immigration case warrants greater expeditious attenton over current applicants for immigration to the US, there are provisions made for this very matter available within the US Citizenship & Immigration Services.

Worthless? I can pretty much garuntee that the work ethic of the people they arrested is 10 fold greater than the trash I am forced to hire here. Yes.. The trash I am referring to are the ones who are lucky enough to be born in this country and would rather live off my tax dollars on welfare cause heaven knows our current president just wants the hard working majority to carry them and there ohhhhhh so rough lives they have here. I would rather hire a person from another country who understands the value of hard work than these lazy things we are breeding over here. My grandparents came through Ellis Island and busted there butt to ensure a greater future for their kids. And I would hate to tell you, unless you are a descendant of an American Indian. We are ALL descendants of Immagrants who just like these folks are looking for a better life. So for some TRASH to call these people "Worthless"... I hate to be the one to inform you, but Sir, you are the worthless one who does not deserve to be here. You can take that attitude of entitlement and leave it at the door just like our current leader will be doing in a few months.
I would love to of been more explicit with my views, but they would of blocked it.

Since your grandparents work so hard and became US citizens legitimately I think they would be pretty upset with you defending the ones that came over illegally.

National borders are drawn to preserve the sanctity of nations against unlawful intrusion. Breaking these laws does NOT grant the law-breakers to ask for humane considerations. It is noted that the Mexican authorities have not taken any responsiblities in implementing their domestic border laws but try and cross their borders without a visa and see what kind of treatment (jail) you will get.
What is the reason for our federal government officials turning a blind eye to this very dangerous situation? Vote with your conscience if you have one to use.
