That's such an inconvenience for anyone. Few people buy bottled or distilled water. Without water you can't eat, bathe, do laundry....it virtually stops the household. I hope these folks have access to large amounts of bottled water, and I hope they have the means to buy it. What a pain.

Becky - you're so right on it stopping the household! I work fro home and you really never realize/think about how much you use water all day - even if you just need to wash your hands or something easy like that! I did have to go buy some water yesterday - luckily those big 3 quart jugs are only a dollar something. I was thinking I was going to have to head to the gym to shower but the water got turned back on just in time for me to get ready for my afternoon appointments!
I'm glad they were able to get over here & get it fixed pretty quickly!

This type of event is happening more as time goes on. Pipes and stuff getting older, more likely to break. The up-side is that our service department jumps right on it and things get fixed fast.
