What Happened to Lassen's Dining Room? Reader Looking for Photos
A letter to the editor from a Stow resident who moved away in 1971 and wants to know what happened to the location of his first job.
I moved away from Stow in June of 1971 after joining the Air Force. I lived on Osage Street from 1958 to 1971.
Around 1968, I went to work in my first job at Lassen's Dining Room, across and/or kitty-corner to Holy Family Parish.
Can anyone tell me what is in the business now, as Lassen's sold the restaurant years ago and moved to Florida.
Also, if anyone has a photo of Lassen's Dining room, I'd love to have a copy.

Editor's note: I believe the location George is inquiring about is now home to Pancho and Lefty's. Can anyone confirm this? If you have a photo of Lassen's, please add it to this post!

I checked my Stow yearbooks and Lassen's had an ad in all of the books I have (1961-1967). Their address is listed as 3524 Kent Road ... the same as Pancho & Lefty's.

I have uploaded the ad and I also found a photo from the 1965 July 4th parade where you can see Lassen's sign behind a tank!

the building you are talking about has been owned by my family since it was new. the address is 3254 kent rd. i bought it from my sister in 1987 but i have managed it a lot longer. i just signed the papers for the sale of that building to pancho & lefty last friday. if there is any imformation that you need to know you can call jim at 330-686-9239 or e-mail me at nitwhit2@aol.com

mrs. Lassen stopped in PANCHO AND LEFTYS not to long ago and asked if she could see the kitchen and bath room add ons we did. She was so happy to see the big improvements

I had visited the location via Google Earth, but could only see a side view of what was Lassen's Dining room. So I couldn't see the name on the front.
