Woman Calls Police, Gets Arrested
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A woman was arrested by Stow Police after she, herself, called 911.
Police Lt. Anne Stirm said the department got an incomplete call from a woman at the 4100 block of Stow Road May 30.
"Dispatch called the residence and heard a commotion. Not a problem there really, but one person had a warrant," said Stirm.
When police arrived they arrested Tara Lynn Silk, 38, who had a failure to appear warrant out for her arrest.
According to Stow Municipal Court records, Silk failed to appear in court May 17 for charges of driving under suspension and illegal and unlawful or expired plates.
She was charged for drug paraphernalia May 30 after police found a glass marijuana water bong, a used marijuana pipe, a black plate with white powder, residue and a straw. Officers also found a 22-inch hunting knife with a 7-inch blade, according to the report.
Police also said they suspected she was using drugs and alcohol when they arrived around 5:40 a.m.
Silk was released on bond.

Jeez,
22 inch knife with a 7 inch blade? That's not a knife, it's a javelin.

One word: rentals
(and no, I'm not implying all renters are bad because they're not; it goes to the 'vested interest' aspect).
