The Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls held its annual Great Golf Ball Drop at Summer Sunset Blast on Saturday. Spectators looked on as nearly 1,000 balls were dropped from a crane toward a target staked in the ground.

The closest ball to the target belonged to Tom Leopp, earning $1000. A second place prize of $500 went to Steve Anderson, and third place, $250, belonged to Larry Callahan.

Sponsors of the Drop were Besso Clinic of Chiropractic, Highpoint Lawn Service, Callahan Carpet, and Tim Stephan Financial. Proceeds of the fundraiser help to support local Rotary community service projects.
