The 31st  Holiday Tree Festival sponsored by the Volunteers of Akron Children's Hospital is November 17, 2012 through November 25, 2012, at the John S. Knight Center, in Akron, Ohio.  Fairlawn resident A. D. Adams is a member of the Akron Manuscript Club, an author, and a wood artist.  Many visitors to the past festivals have vivid memories of the unique, all-wooden trees that were handcrafted by him.  This year Mr. Adams went in a new direction with his artistic skills and crafted a tabletop decoration entitled "Santa and His Reindeer".  He spent countless hours creating Santa and all eight of his reindeer out of dozens of pieces of wood for a decoration that truly stands out.
