Opening my heart. Being a step mom to a child with special needs. Pt4

Hello everyone reading. I didn't think that I would write for awhile, but I am getting huge support from people that have reached out to me. I thank you for that. It's wonderful that people that I have never met, reach out and are interested in my story. Please, by all and any means if you would like to email me for support or know any who would like to email, please do so.

We had a birthday this week. My big girl T turned 11 on tuesday. Pre Teen years, oh what fun. My pre teen is such a great, wonderful, smart young lady. I was telling her the other day that I remember a curious little 5 year old in the window of her room looking out at her daddy and me, when she should have been in bed sleeping. Such a cute little girl. Now she is 11 and I couldn't be more proud to call her my daughter.

We also had a big week with E, my boucing beauty. Although she is 9, she is non verbal, she said "All done" 3 times this week when finished with her eating at the table. Then she also helped with putting on her clothes. This is huge! I can't wait what the future hold for us!!  Thesky is the limit. Now if only I can get her therapists to communicate with me, that would be wonderful. I have an IEP meeting next moth so that I what I am gearing up for now.
