DESCRIPTION:The Bark in the Park Pledge Walk&nbsp\;is a chance for you &a
 mp\; your pet to enjoy a 1 mile walk together...and help the homeless an
 imals of PAWSibilities\, Humane Society of Greater Akron enjoy a better 
 life at the same time! Proceeds go to help animals that are victims of c
 ruelty/neglect\, illness/injury\, and provide adoption services\, educat
 ion &amp\; community outreach programs!\n\nWalk!&nbsp\;For animals that 
 have been beaten and battered...\nWalk!&nbsp\;For animals that are left 
 behind with no one to love them...\nWalk!&nbsp\;So that no animal lives 
 in fear...\nWalk!&nbsp\;For animals that are starved and hungry...\n\nTh
 is year\, our Bark in the Park event is Saturday\, May 12th and located 
 at Springfield Lake Park. Registration begins at 11:00 am and the Pledge
  Walk begins at 12:00 pm.\nRegistration Fee:&nbsp\;$5 per person for adu
 lts. Children under 12 are free. There is no fee for pets. We challenge 
 each walker to raise $100. Do so and you&rsquo\;ll receive a 2012 Bark i
 n the Park T-shirt and a bandana for your pet.
