Are you a Friend of the Library? You could be! Membership is only $5.00 a person (or $10 per family). Not only will you get the satisfaction of supporting your local public library, you'll also get an early chance to peruse this spring's booksale offerings!
The the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library Booksale is sponsored, organized and presented by the Friends, so they get a special preview on Wednesday, April 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Friends are a fun, dynamic volunteer organization. Members can participate as much as they like or not at all. You can become a Friend of the Library by filling out a form and kicking in your $5 at the booksale itself, or by turning in a form at the library's circulation desk. Known for its vast collection, a comprehensive local history holding and an array of children's programs, the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library has long been an area institution. A number of reading rooms are available to accommodate the town's population. This location is also the main branch of the SMFPL.
