A recent press release suggests that Santa Claus might be “too busy” to make his annual pre-Christmas Eve visit to Stow-Munroe Falls.
Santa too busy for children? Bah Humbug!
After several telephone calls, local citizens and Silver Lake Country Club are pleased to announce that Santa will be available for photos and wishes after all.
Through volunteers and private funding, local families are invited to celebrate “Keeping Christmas: a SMF Community Holiday Celebration” on Monday, December 10th from 5-8Pm at the Silver Lake Country Club, 1325 Graham Road in Silver Lake.
Parents are encouraged to bring the camera to snap a picture of the little ones with Santa. Local teens will perform. Children will have the opportunity to send letters to the North Pole. And, of course, cookies will be served.
Admission is free to ALL residents of Stow-Munroe Falls. The event is an official collection site for OPEN M of Akron, so donations of pajamas sizes three months to adult will be gratefully received.
“Keeping Christmas” is an opportunity for friends and neighbors to share the spirit of peace and love that makes living in Stow-Munroe Falls one of our greatest blessings.

Ho, Ho, Ho, only a few more days until I visit with the nice people of Stow Munroe Falls. Mrs. Claus and I are excited and can't wait to meet everyone and see the Christmas tree at the Silver Lake Country Club! Mrs. Claus has baked some yummy cookies to share so don't be late! Merry Christmas!

Getting my sleigh and team ready to head to Stow! I'll be at the Silver Lake Country Club Monday night at 5:00pm! Mrs. Claus is excited to join me as we visit with all the children of Stow.
