A mandatory Parent Information Meeting for parents/guardians of all Stow-Munroe Falls High School (SMFHS) fall sports participants entering grades 9-12 will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the SMFHS Commons.
Cathy O’Donnell, Executive Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator at Kent State University will serve as the guest speaker. All parents will meet for a brief program, followed by smaller breakout sessions for each sport, which will be held in classrooms. All mandatory forms and important information including athletic training guidelines, eligibility, practice schedules, and season pass information will be discussed.
Also, parents are reminded that a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form needs to be completed by a physician, and remain on file in the athletic office, prior to student athlete eligibility. The six-part form may be downloaded from the ohsaa.org website, or picked up in the athletic office at SMFHS. For more information, please contact Athletic Director Cyle Feldman at 330-689-5203.

More About Stow-Munroe Falls High School
The Stow-Munroe Falls High School educates young adults and prepares them for college. The high school has on-site athletic fields, tennis courts and practice fields. About $50 million is appropriated to all the schools within the Stow-Munroe Falls City School district, with a lot of the money going toward the high school's facility. There are 365 certified teachers in the district, and many are at the high school building. The high school educates students in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
