5 Things They Never Served at School Lunch When I Was a Kid
The first day of school is so close, school lunch menus are posted on the district's web site. And the lunches look pretty tasty.
School lunches were 40 cents when I was a kid. Today in at Stow-Munroe Falls High School, it's $2.75 -- a day. Man, am I old.
Anyway, there are some pretty unusual things on this month's menu, which is posted on the high school's web site.
1. General Tso's Chicken
2. New Orleans Chicken
3. White Pizza
4. Popcorn Chicken
5. Chicken Caesar Wrap
But some things haven't changed. They still serve:
1. Salisbury Steak
2. Sloppy Joe Sandwich
3. Macaroni and Cheese
4. Chicken Nuggets
